  3.      Most fishermen agree that Mount Desert Island fishing rates fair to poor, especially during July and August.  Consult Maine Open Water Fishing Regulations and see other guidelines below.
  4.      Long Pond, Eagle Lake, Jordan Pond, Bubble Pond and Upper and Lower Hadlock Ponds are part of the Mount Desert Island drinking water supply.  Please observe posted regulations.
